RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE
AND CONVEYANCE OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED AT 717 COLUMBIA STREET TO
EMILIO CASTRO AS DECEMBER 21, 2009, AT 5:30
P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO,
IOWA, AND INSTRUCTING THE DEPUTY CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 21St day of December, 2009, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and
convey city -owned property generally located at 717 Columbia
Street to Emilio Castro, and legally described as follows:
Ricker and Bratnober Land Co Addition South 46 feet
Lots 14 and 15 Block 3, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $4,330.00, plus costs.
Section 2. That the Deputy City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of December, 2009.
