OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals .received will be opened In.
the First Floor Conference Roam at City
Hall, In the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
10th day of March, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., and
the proposals will be acted upon at such
later time and place as maythen be fixed
by the City Council.
• PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Council of
said City will conduct a public hearing on
the proposed plans, specifications, form
of contract, and estimate of cost for the
construction of the above -described im-
provement project at 5:30 p.m. on the

SCOPE OF WORK
The extent of the work involved Is the
construction of street improvements in,
along and upon portions of certain
streets, avenues, roads, and alleys, and
such other work as may be Incidental
thereto along and upon the following
streets, avenues, roads and alleys.
Street Improvements consisting of:

• 1 Ya or 3 inch thick HMA ST Intermediate
15", 60% CR over a 3-Inch Base, I. 60%
CR with a 1 'h -inch thick HMA ST

• 6 or 7-inch non -reinforced PCC paving
with integral curb and gutter
Subgrade drain tile, granular subbase,
new storm sewer and appurtenances and
other such work as may be Incidental
thereto.
All street improvements consist of the
reconstruction of an existing paved street,
which is to be replaced with a proposed
street.
