Members present: Mayor Rooff, Getty, Anders, Mollenhoff, Murphy,
Collier, Krizek.
Members absent: Jordan.
Moved by Collier, seconded by Mollenhoff that the Agenda, as
proposed, be approved. Ayes: Six. Absent: Jordan. Motion
carried.
Agenda items that have been placed on the council agenda for
Monday, March 2, 1998 were reviewed with department heads who
have items on the agenda.
The request of Superintendent of Central Garage for authorization
from Finance Committee and Public Works Committee to purchase
garbage truck chassis and packer in the amount of $131,328.00
from Wayne Engineering prior to March 1, 1998 was reviewed. It
will take thirteen months for chassis preparation and put a drain
on existing trucks if not purchased now. The actual billing for
the truck chassis and packer will not be submitted until July 1,
1998 so this will be included in F.Y. 1999 Budget. Moved by
Getty, seconded by Collier that said request be approved. Ayes:
Six. Absent: Jordan. Motion carried.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by
Mollenhoff, seconded by Murphy that the meeting be adjourned at
8:10 a.m. Ayes: Six. Absent: Jordan. Motion carried.
