Members present: Mayor Rooff, Getty, Murphy, Anders, Collier,
Mollenhoff, Krizek.
Members absent: Jordan.
Moved by Collier, seconded by Mollenhoff that the Agenda, as
proposed, be approved. Ayes: Five. Absent: Jordan, Krizek.
Motion carried.
Agenda items that have been placed on the council agenda for
Monday, March 16, 1998 were reviewed with department heads who have
items on the agenda.
Krizek now present at 7:52 a.m.
Assistant City Attorney Sang-Ki Han stated that labor negotiation
strategy is an approved topic of Executive Session, as per Iowa
Code Section 20.17(3)(1997)
Moved by Getty, seconded by Collier that the council adjourn to
Executive Session at 8:05 a.m.. Ayes: Six. Absent: Mollenhoff.
Motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Moved by Collier, seconded by Mollenhoff that the council adjourn
Executive Session at 8:25 a.m. Ayes: Six. Absent: Jordan.
Motion carried.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by
Mollenhoff, seconded by Getty that the meeting be adjourned at 8:25
a.m. Ayes: Six. Absent: Jordan. Motion carried.
