Moved by Jordan, seconded by Mollenhoff that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Five. Absent: Murphy, Collier. Motion carried. Revised Chapter 27, Offenses - Miscellaneous, of the Waterloo Code of Ordinances was reviewed. This chapter is being revised as part of the recodification of the Code. Most of the revisions to Chapter 27 are housekeeping in nature; that is deleting or editing grammar, deleting sections that are outdated and making violations of the section a municipal infraction. No new sections have been added to Chapter 27, Offenses - Miscellaneous. City Clerk Nancy Eckert, Administrative Director Bob Stevenson and Assistant City Attorney Sang-Ki Han are meeting weekly reviewing and revising sections of the Code. Their goal is to completely recodify the Waterloo Code of Ordinances by the end of 1998. Departments will be included if a chapter pertains to their department. Moved by Getty, seconded by Jordan that councilmembers review Chapter 27, Offenses - Miscellaneous, of the1993 Waterloo Code of Ordinances and get back to staff with any changes, and that Chapter 27 be placed on the city council agenda of April 20, 1998. Ayes: Five. Absent: Murphy, Collier. Motion carried. With no further business before the committee, it was moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Krizek that the meeting be adjourned at 5:07 p.m. Ayes: Five. Absent: Murphy, Collier. Motion carried.
