Members present: Mayor Roof% Getty, Jordan, Krizek, Groner, Anders.
Members absent: Murphy, Collier.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Krizek that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes:
Five. Absent: Murphy, Collier. Motion carried.
Agenda items that have been placed on the Council Agenda for Monday, November 16,
1998 were reviewed with Department Heads that have items on the agenda..
Discussion was heard regarding free leaf pickup. Dick Grimm, Superintendent of
Sanitation & Recycling, stated that it cost approximately $62,000 for the two weeks of
free leaf pickup. Discussion was heard regarding how to handle the leaf pickup next year.
Councilperson Anders stated that he was not in favor of adding another week for free leaf
pickup because it is so cost intensive. It was the consensus of the council that free leaf
pickup be held the week of November 17, 1998 through November 20, 1998.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Getty, seconded by Jordan
that the meeting be adjourned at 9:35 a.m. Ayes: Five. Absent: Murphy, Collier.
Motion carried.
