Members present: Mayor Rooff, Getty, Krizek, Gronen, Anders.
Members absent: Murphy, Jordan, Collier.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Gronen that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Four.
Absent: Murphy, Jordan, Collier. Motion carried.
Assistant City Attorney Sang-Ki Han stated that labor negotiation strategy is an approved topic of
Executive Session pursuant to Iowa Code Section 20.17(3)(1997).
Moved by Krizek, seconded by Gronen that the Council adjourn to Executive Session at 8:35
a.m. Ayes: Four. Absent: Murphy, Jordan, Collier. Motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Moved by Getty, seconded by Gronen that the Executive Session adjourn at 8:58 a.m. Ayes:
Four. Absent: Murphy, Jordan, Collier. Motion carried.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Anders, seconded by Getty that the
meeting be adjourned at 8:58 a.m. Ayes: Four. Absent: Murphy, Jordan, Collier. Motion
carried.

Agenda items that have been placed on the Council Agenda for Monday, December 21,
1998 were reviewed with Department Heads that have items on the agenda..
Collier now present at 9:08 a.m.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Getty, seconded by Jordan
that the meeting be adjourned at 9:29 a.m. Ayes: Six. Absent: Murphy. Motion carried.
