RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH HYDRITE CHEMICAL CO., IN
CONJUNCTION WITH CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 13,200
SQUARE FOOT OFFICE BUILDING, WITH A MINIMUM
ASSESSMENT AGREEMENT ADDING $1,562,700.00 TO THE
CURRENT ASSESSED VALUE OF THE PROPERTY, AND
CITY AND TAX REBATES OF SIX YEARS AT FIFTY
PERCENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,IOWA,
that the Development and Minimum Assessment Agreement dated March 7, 2022,between
Hydrite Chemical Co. and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in conjunction with construction of a new
13,200 square foot office building,with a Minimum Assessment Agreement adding 1,562,700.00
to the current assessed value of the property, and City and tax rebates of six years at fifty percent,
is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
document on behalf of the City of Waterloo,Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of March 2022. L
