RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION WITH IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR
COMMUNITY ATTRACTION AND TOURISM PROGRAM
MARKETING GRANT AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF
SAID APPLICATION BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the application dated December 21, 2009, for a Community
Attraction and Tourism Program Marketing grant in the amount of
$15,000.00, with 50 percent required local match, to be used for
advertising and promotional efforts for the Phelps Youth
Pavilion, by and between Iowa Department of Economic Development
and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby
approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21St day of December, 2009.
