RESOLUTION NO. 2022-190
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS APRIL 7, 2022 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS APRIL 18, 2022, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE 2022 AND 2023 RESIDENTIAL
LOTS/MISCELLANEOUS AREAS MOWING AND LOT
MAINTENANCE SERVICES CONTRACT, AND INSTRUCT
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the 2022 and 2023 Residential Lots/Miscellaneous Areas Mowing and Lot
Maintenance Services Contract, for city owned lots generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A,
are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with 2022 and 2023 Residential
Lots/Miscellaneous Areas Mowing and Lot Maintenance Services Contract, for city owned lots
generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A, be scheduled for April 7, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., City
Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 18th day of April 2022, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with 2022 and 2023 Residential Lots/Miscellaneous Areas
Mowing and Lot Maintenance Services Contract, for city owned lots generally acquired through
Iowa Code 657A.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
