RESOLUTION NO. 2022-206
RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO THE NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST OF RAYNELLE WALKER, FROM
1:00-6:00 P.M., MAY 28, 2022, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
BEAT THE STREETZ WEEKEND EVENT, LOCATED IN
SULLIVAN PARK, INCLUDING USE OF A PA SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Raynelle Walker is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance, May 28,
2022, in Sullivan Park from 1:00-6:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Beat the Streetz Weekend
event, including use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise Ordinance, Ordinance No.
3094, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Raynelle Walker, for a variance to Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance May 28, 2022, in Sullivan Park from 1:00-6:00 p.m., in conjunction with
the Beat the Streetz Weekend event, including use of a PA system, be and the same hereby
granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18t" day of April 2022.
