RESOLUTION NO. 2022-215
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC., SETTING DATE
OF BID OPENING AS APRIL 28, 2022 AND DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING AS MAY 2, 2022, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
PURCHASE OF ONE (1) JOHN DEERE 6120M TRACTOR
WITH 22-FOOT CRADLE MOUNT MOWER, AND INSTRUCT
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the purchase of one (1) John Deere 6120M Tractor with 22-foot Cradle Mount
Mower, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) John Deere
6120M Tractor with 22-foot Cradle Mount Mower, be scheduled for April 28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 2nd day of May 2022, to hold
a public hearing, in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) John Deere 6120M Tractor with 22-
foot Cradle Mount Mower.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of April 2022.
