RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO WILSON CUSTOM TREE
OF CRESCO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF OPTION
A:$925.00/$2,575.00; OPTION B:$360.00/$800.00; OPTION
C:$400.00/$900.00; OPTION D:$33,145.00, APPROVING THE
CONTRACT, BOND AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY2022 WASTE WATER
TREATMENT PLANT LIFT STATIONS MOWING
CONTRACT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, Wilson Custom Tree of Cresco, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of
Option A:$925.00/$2,575.00; Option B:$360.00/$800.00; Option C:$400.00/$900.00; Option
D:$33,145.00, and is the apparent low bidder in conjunction with the FY2022 Waste Water
Treatment Plant Lift Stations Mowing Contract, and
WHEREAS, Wilson Custom Tree submitted a written contract, bond and certificate of
insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2022-220, after public hearing on April 18, 2022, in conjunction the FY2022
Waste Water Treatment Plant Lift Stations Mowing Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Wilson Custom Tree, in the amount of Option A:
$925.00/$2,575.00; Option B: $360.00/$800.00; Option C: $400.00/$900.00; Option D:
$33,145.00, in conjunction with the FY2022 Waste Water Treatment Plant Lift Stations Mowing
Contract, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by Wilson Custom
Tree, in conjunction with the FY2022 Waste Water Treatment Plant Lift Stations Mowing
Contract, described in the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2022-220, after public hearing on April 18, 2021 on published notice required by
law, are hereby accepted and approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of April 2022.
