RESOLUTION NO. 2022-269
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE CONTRACT WITH THE
IOWA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (IEDA)
AND CPM ACQUISITION CORPORATION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the Economic Development Assistance Contract dated May 2, 2022, between Iowa Economic
Development Authority and CPM Acquisition Corporation, for state incentives through the High
Quality Jobs Program of up to $601,000, for expanding their business to a new facility located on
Leversee Road north of Hyper Drive and creating fourteen (14) new jobs paying an average of
$34.83 per hour, is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to
execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of May 2022.
