RESOLUTION NO. 2022-271
RESOLUTION APPROVING GAMING GRANT AGREEMENT
WITH THE BLACK HAWK COUNTY GAMING
ASSOCIATION, FOR A GRANT AWARD IN THE AMOUNT
OF $6.5 MILLION, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
TRANSFORMING GATES AND BYRNES PARKS PROJECT,
AND AUTHORIZING THE LEISURE SERVICES DIRECTOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Grant Agreement between the Black Hawk County Gaming Association and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, for a grant award, in the amount of $6.5 million, in conjunction with the
Transforming Gates and Byrnes Parks Project, is hereby approved, and the Leisure Services
Director is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo.
