RESOLUTION NO. 2022-251
RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO THE NOISE
ORDINANCE FOR AGUSTIN PEREZ-VORGAS FOR THE
PEREZ FAMILY REUNION, FROM 3:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. ON
MAY 7, 2022, LOCATED AT 505 SHERMAN AVENUE.
WHEREAS, AGUSTIN PEREZ-VORGAS is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on June 6, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in conjunction with the Perez Family
Reunion to be held at 505 Sherman Avenue, including music and use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance,
and
WHEREAS, said AGUSTIN PEREZ-VORGAS has made formal application for a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on May 7, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of AGUSTIN PEREZ-VORGAS for a variance to the
Noise Ordinance on June 6, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Perez
Family Reunion to be held at 505 Sherman Avenue, with the use of a PA system, is hereby
granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of May 2022.
