RESOLUTION NO. 2022-293
RESOLUTION APPROVING A TWO-YEAR SCHOOL RESOURCE
OFFICER AGREEMENT WITH THE WATERLOO COMMUNITY
SCHOOL DISTRICT, TO PROVIDE SIX (6) SCHOOL RESOURCE
OFFICERS IN THE SCHOOLS FOR FY 2023, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$308,053.00 AND FY 2024 IN THE AMOUNT OF $323,455.00, TO
INCLUDE FUNDING FOR OFFICER TRAINING, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the two-year School Resource Officer Agreement with the Waterloo Community
School District, to provide six (6) School Resource Officers in the schools for FY 2023, in the
amount of $308,053.00 and FY 2024 in the amount of $323,455.00, to include funding for officer
training, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute
said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16t'I day of May 2022.
