RESOLUTION NO. 2022-284
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND ACCEPTANCE OF WORK FOR WORK PERFORMED
BY BOOMERANG CORPORATION, OF ANAMOSA, IOWA,
FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF $4,176,861.94, AND RELEASE
OF RETAINAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF $208,843.09, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE DRY RUN CREEK
INTERCEPTOR PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 877.
WHEREAS, Boomerang Corporation, of Anamosa, Iowa, performed work in conjunction
with the Dry Run Creek Interceptor Project, Contract No. 877, and
WHEREAS, the Boomerang Corporation has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved on
November 12, 2019, Resolution No. 2019-849.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by the Boomerang Corporation, in the amount of $4,176,861.94, and
release of retainage in the amount of $208,843.09, in conjunction with the Dry Run Creek
Interceptor Project, Contract No. 877, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of May 2022.
