RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF CONSULTATION WITH
AFFECTED TAXING ENTITIES AS MAY 31, 2022, AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS JUNE 20, 2022, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 6 TO THE MARTIN ROAD
URBAN RENEWAL AND REDEVELOPMENT PLAN TO EXPAND
THE BOUNDARIES, UPDATE PROJECTS AND PROJECT BUDGETS
TO BE INCLUDED IN THE PLAN, AND OTHER GENERAL
UPDATES TO THE PLAN, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 20th day of June, 2022, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon approving the Martin Road Urban Renewal and
Redevelopment Plan to expand the boundaries, update projects and project budgets to be included
in the Plan, and other general updates to the Plan, and setting date of consultation with taxing
entities as May 31, 2022.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing and consultation with taxing entities, in the Waterloo Courier.
