RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO THE NOISE
ORDINANCE FOR SIDNEY SIMPSON FOR THE FAITH
TEMPLE FISH FRY EVENT, FROM 3:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M., ON
JULY 13-14, 2022.
WHEREAS, Sidney Simpson is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance in
conjunction with the Faith Temple Fish Fry event, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on July 13-14,
2022, including a live music and use of a PA system.
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Sidney Simpson for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094,
Noise Ordinance, in conjunction with the Faith Temple Fish Fry event, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00
p.m., on July 13-14, 2022, including a live music and use of a PA system, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20t'I day of June 2022.
