RESOLUTION NO. 2022-358
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS JULY 7, 2022 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS JULY 18, 2022, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH DEMOLITION AND SITE
CLEARANCE SERVICES, CONTRACT NO. D-2022-07-05P,
LOCATED AT 928 MULBERRY STREET, 1526 E. 4TH
STREET, 1527 E. 4TH STREET, 307 SUMNER STREET, AND
335 SUMNER STREET, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction
with Demolition and Site Clearance Services, Contract No. D-2022-07-05P, located at 928
Mulberry Street, 1526 E. 4th Street, 1527 E. 4th Street, 307 Sumner Street, and 335 Sumner
Street, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction Demolition and Site
Clearance Services, Contract No. D-2022-07-05P, located at 928 Mulberry Street, 1526 E. 4th
Street, 1527 E. 4th Street, 307 Sumner Street, and 335 Sumner Street, be scheduled for July 7,
2022 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 18th day of July 2022, to hold
a public hearing, in conjunction with Demolition and Site Clearance Services, Contract No. D-
2022-07-05P, located at 928 Mulberry Street, 1526 E. 4th Street, 1527 E. 4th Street, 307 Sumner
Street, and 335 Sumner Street.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of June 2022.
