PCI was asked to provide additional Detour and Traffic Signage for Stage II construction on Shaulis Rd. This work was approved in the field and this is the
follow up to the direct. This includes installation, removal, and reinstallation of the sign bases due to the staging changes.

RE: Black Hawk 2021 Shaulis Road Reconstruction Hess Road to US-218
To Whom It May Concern:
Iowa Plains Signing, Inc. is requesting the following contract modification for the above
referenced project. This request per contracting authority is for additional signage. IPSI
has been requested to provide a large amount of business access signage for Lost Island
and KOA Campground. Sheet J.10 provided as part of this request indicates over 50
signs post -mounted on over 40 posts. We anticipate these signs to remain in place for
the majority of the 2022 working season. Please see the following price to perform this
work.
Additional Signage - $25,900.00 Lump Sum
Please submit this information for processing. Contract Modification must be accepted,
signed and returned to Iowa Plains Signing, Inc. If you have any questions, please give
my office a call. Price does not include prime mark-up.
