RESOLUTION NO. 2022-383
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF BID
DOCUMENTS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT,
ESTIMATE OF COST, ETC., AND AUTHORIZING TO
PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT BODY ARMOR NEEDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Police Chief of said City to prepare and file specifications, form of contract, estimate of cost, etc.,
in conjunction with the Police Department body armor needs, and
WHEREAS, said Police Chief did file said specifications, form of contract, estimate of
cost, etc., in conjunction with the Police Department body armor needs, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on June 20, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion by
this Council that said specifications, form of contract, estimate of cost, etc., in conjunction with
the Police Department body armor needs, are hereby approved, and said project proceed in
accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of June 2022.
