RESOLUTION NO. 2022-404
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INCENTIVE PAYMENT TO
GROW CEDAR VALLEY, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$46,500.00, FOR WORK TOWARDS FY 2022 ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, Grow Cedar Valley and the City of Waterloo executed an agreement on July
19, 2021 by Resolution No. 2021-498, for technical and professional services for FY 2022
economic development purposes, and
WHEREAS, per the agreement, Grow Cedar Valley is authorized to request the base
payment, plus additional payments for work performed, tax base and jobs created.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the incentive payment to Grow Cedar Valley, in the amount of
$46,500.00, in conjunction with FY 2022 economic development, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20t'I day of June 2022.
