QUIT CLAIM DEED
For the consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) and other valuable consideration, City of Waterloo, Iowa, does
hereby quit claim to Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity, all of its right, title, interest, estate, claim, and demand in
the following described real estate in Black Hawk County, Iowa:
Lot 1, and an undivided 1/11 interest in Lot 12 in Field's Addition in Waterloo, Iowa.
AND
The Southeasterly 48 feet of Lots 1 and 2, Block 6, Leavitt's Addition to Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
Subject to (a) easements, servitudes, conditions, and restrictions of record; (b) general utility and
right-of-way easements serving the property; and (c) restrictions imposed by local zoning ordinances and
other applicable law.
Deed from Iowa political subdivision. Exempt from real estate transfer tax, declaration of value and
groundwater hazard statement.
The grantor hereby covenants with grantees, and successors in interest, to warrant and defend the real estate
against the lawful claims of all persons claiming by, through, or under it, except as may be stated above.
Words and phrases herein, including acknowledgment hereof, shall be construed as in the singular or plural
number, and as masculine or feminine gender, according to the context.
