RESOLUTION NO. 2022-431
RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND BID
DOCUMENT, SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS JULY
14, 2022 AND THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS JULY 18,
2022 IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2023 ASPHALT
EMULSIONS FOR THE CITY'S SEAL COATING PROGRAM,
AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
City Public Works Division Manager of said City to prepare and file specifications, bid document,
form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the FY 2023 Asphalt Emulsions for the City's Seal
Coating Program, and
WHEREAS, said City Public Works Division Manager did file said specifications, bid
document, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the FY 2023 Asphalt Emulsions for the
City's Seal Coating Program, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on July 5, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion by
this Council that said specifications, bid document, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the
FY 2023 Asphalt Emulsions for the City's Seal Coating Program, are hereby approved, and said
project proceed in accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of July 2022.
