RESOLUTION NO. 2022-418
RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM MARY WILLIAMS ON
BEHALF OF COLOFF MEDIA, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
CORN COUNTRY FEST TO BE HELD ON JULY 9, 2022
FROM 3:45 P.M. TO 11:15 P.M., AT THE NATIONAL CATTLE
CONGRESS GROUNDS, 250 ANSBOROUGH AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Mary Williams, on behalf of Coloff Media, is requesting a variance to the
Noise Ordinance on July 9, 2022 from 3:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m., at the National Cattle Congress
Grounds, 250 Ansborough Avenue, in conjunction with the Corn Country Fest, with the use of a
PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Mary Williams, on behalf of Coloff Media, for a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on July 9, 2022 from 3:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m., at the National
Cattle Congress Grounds, 250 Ansborough Avenue, in conjunction with the Corn Country Fest,
with the use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of July 2022.
