RESOLUTION NO. 2022-419
RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM FELICIA SMITH NALLS, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE NORTH END ARTS AND MUSIC
FESTIVAL, TO BE HELD ON JULY 9, 2022 FROM 10:00 A.M.
TO 6:00 P.M., AT FERGUSON FIELDS PARK, INCLUDING
THE USE OF A PA SYSTEM, DJ AND LIVE BANDS.
WHEREAS, Felicia Smith Nalls, is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on July
9, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Fergus Fields Park, in conjunction with the North End
Arts and Music Festival, with the use of a PA system, DJ and live bands, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Felicia Smith Nalls, for a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on July 9, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Fergus Fields Park, in conjunction
with the North End Arts and Music Festival, with the use of a PA system, DJ and live bands, be
and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of July 2022.
