RESOLUTION NO. 2022-425
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF THE IOWA
GRADE CROSSING SURFACE REPAIR FUND
APPLICATION, ALONG WITH IOWA NORTHERN RAILWAY
CO., TO THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE JEFFERSON STREET
RAILROAD CROSSING SURFACE REPAIR PROJECT, WITH
THE CITY'S SHARE BEING THE COST OF TRAFFIC
CONTROL AND TWENTY -PERCENT OF THE
CONSTRUCTION COST, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the Iowa Grade Crossing Surface Repair Fund application, along with the Iowa
Northern Railway Co., to the Iowa Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the
Jefferson Street Railroad Crossing Surface Repair Project, with the City's share being the cost of
traffic control and twenty -percent of the construction cost, be hereby approved, and the Mayor
authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of July 2022.
