RESOLUTION NO. 2022-430
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS JULY 21, 2022 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS AUGUST 1, 2022, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE FY 2023 SERGEANT ROAD TRAIL BRIDGES NO.
2 AND NO. 3 REPLACEMENT, CONTRACT NO. 1070, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction
with the FY 2023 Sergeant Road Trail Bridges No. 2 and No. 3 Replacement, Contract No. 1070,
are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2023 Sergeant Road Trail
Bridges No. 2 and No. 3 Replacement, Contract No. 1070, be scheduled for July 21, 2022 at 1:00
p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 1st day of August 2022, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2023 Sergeant Road Trail Bridges No. 2 and
No. 3 Replacement, Contract No. 1070.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of July 2022.
