RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
AGREEMENT WITH IOWA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
AMENDMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that Amendment No. 1 to Agreement dated April 5, 2010, to change
the award amount from $857,352.00 to $1,131,672.00, for Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program
(HMGP) 1763 Structural Acquisition (Buy Out) funds, to acquire on
a voluntary basis structures damaged or destroyed in the 2008
floods, by and between the Iowa Department of Economic
Development and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of April, 2010.
