RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF LINNEA NICOL
OF THE WATERLOO COMMUNITY PLAYHOUSE/BLACK
HAWK CHILDREN'S THEATRE TO HOLD "RUN FOR THE
DREAM" EVENT ON JUNE 12, 2010.
WHEREAS, Linnea Nicol of the Waterloo Community
Playhouse/Black Hawk Children's Theater has requested to hold the
"Run for the Dream" event on June 12, 2010. Registration will
begin at 6:30 a.m. and the race to start at 7:30 a.m., with the
route beginning on Commercial Street to River Road, take River
Road one mile to the middle of the bridge, turn around and run
back to Mullan Avenue, continue on Commercial Street to West 2nd
Street, right on West 2nd Street to Washington Street (Bluff),
and left on Washington Street to West 4th Street to Lincoln Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Linnea Nicol of the Waterloo
Community Playhouse/Black Hawk Children's Theater to hold the
"Run for the Dream" event on June 12, 2010. Registration will
begin at 6:30 a.m. and the race to start at 7:30 a.m., with the
route beginning on Commercial Street to River Road, take River

be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of April, 2010.
