RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
WITH THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY,
THE STATE HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF IOWA, IOWA
HOMELAND SECURITY & EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
DIVISION AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Memorandum of Agreement dated April 12, 2010, to
mitigate adverse effects to historic properties resulting from
the acquisition/demolition of properties as part of the Hazard
Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Property Acquisition Project, by
and between the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the State
Historical Society of Iowa, Iowa Homeland Security & Emergency
Management Division and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the
same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized
to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of April, 2010.
