ORDINANCE NO. 5651
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY
OF WATERLOO CODE OF ORDINAN-
CES BY ADDING SUBSECTION 6 TO
PARAGRAPH A, SECTION 6, FEES FOR
SERVICE, OF CHAPTER 3, SOLID
WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL,
TITLE 4, PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFE-
TY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATER-
LOO, IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That there is hereby added
Subsection 6 to paragraph A, Section 6,
Fees for Service, Chapter 4, Solid Waste
Collection and Disposal, Title 4, Public
Health and Safety to read as follows:
6. Transaction Fees: All customers will be
charged fees, as set forth in the solid
waste fee schedule for return visits,
replacement of damaged containers
caused by customer, delivery or removal
or exchange of containers for reasons
other than damage, unauthorized depos-
al of waste incurring landfill penalties,
unauthorized cart or RFID swapping,
RFID removal or alteration, unauthorized
use of additional carts, and any similar
fees as added to the fee schedule.
Section 2. All provisions of Title 4,
Chapter 4, Section 6 shall remain in full
force and effect.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its
passage and
publication as provided by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of
June 2022.
