Moved by Getty, seconded by Mollenhoff that the Agenda, as
proposed, be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Krizek. Motion
carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Mollenhoff that the Minutes of
September 15, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent:
Krizek. Motion carried.
The request of the Police Chief to amend the travel request for an
additional $187 . 04 for gasoline for trip to Lexington, Kentucky
was reviewed. When the department initially estimated the cost of
gasoline for the trip, expense for gas was underestimated at an
amount of $120. 00. Upon return from the trip, the actual cost for
gasoline was $307 . 04 . It was the request of the Police Chief that
the gasoline expenditure be revised for an additional amount of
$187 . 04, the difference between the original estimation of $120. 00
and the actual expense of $307 . 04 . Moved by Getty, seconded by
Mollenhoff that said request be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent:
Krizek. Motion carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Mollenhoff that the request of the
WP/FC CS/M Supervisor for authorization to expend $3, 396. 00 for
replacement of the upper and lower belts on Belt Press #2 be
approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Krizek. Motion carried.
The request of the Police Chief to seek bids for five radar units
was reviewed. The Police Department has received a grant in the
amount of $10, 000 from the Governors Traffic Safety Bureau for the
purchase of 5 dual antenna moving traffic radar units. It is
estimated that the radar units will cost $2, 500. 00 each. Moved by
Getty, seconded by Mollenhoff that said request be approved.

Moved by Getty, seconded by Mollenhoff that the garbage refund in
the amount of $60 for 175 Martin Road be approved. Ayes: Two.
Absent: Krizek. Motion carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Mollenhoff that the garbage refund in
the amount of $76. 50 for 707 Logan Avenue be approved. Ayes:
Two. Absent: Krizek. Motion carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Mollenhoff that the request of the
Recreation Director for pre-authorization to expend $1, 000 . 00 to
purchase the painting "In Plane View" be approved. Ayes: Two.
Absent: Krizek. Motion carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Mollenhoff that the request of the
Assistant Superintendent of Central Garage for pre-authorization
to expend $6, 283. 28 for engine overhaul on garbage truck be
approved. Ayes : Two. Absent: Krizek. Motion carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Mollenhoff that the request of the
Assistant Superintendent of Central Garage to transfer $100. 00
from Line Item 1519 (DP Supply) to Line Item 1392 (Subscript) be
approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Krizek. Motion carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Mollenhoff that the request of the
Superintendent of Water Pollution/Flood Control to transfer
$18, 300 from Line Item 2152 (Building Improvements) to Line Item
1750 (Debt Service Expense) in the amount of $9, 300 and Line Item
1569 (Vehicle Parts) in the amount of $9, 000 be approved. Ayes:
