Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried. The following bids received for security services at city ramps were reviewed: Bidder Bid Amount Midland Security & Express Co. $9 . 74 per hour Superior Security Services $9 . 50 per hour The contract provides for security in and around the E. 5th Street, E. Park Avenue, west side parking ramps and the Fourth Street bridge walkway. Security is provided for the hours of 8 : 00 p.m. to midnight, seven days per week (1, 460 estimated hours per year) , for a total estimated yearly cost of $13 , 870 . 00 . It was the recommendation of the Deputy City Clerk that the low bid of Superior Security Services in the amount of $9 . 50 per hour be approved. Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that said recommendation be approved, subject to approval of the Building & Grounds Committee on Monday, October 23 , 1995 . Ayes : Three. Motion carried. Paul Insurance for $10, 000 per claim deductible in the amount of $30, 902 for Public Officials Liability insurance and for $69, 601 for Police Professional Liability insurance be approved. Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that said recommendation be approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried. Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that a garbage refund in the amount of $160 . 00 for 1021 Janney Avenue be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried. Moved by Anders, seconded by Mollenhoff that the request of the Superintendent of Traffic Operations for pre-authorization to expend $2, 151 . 00 for snow chute for Park Avenue ramp be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried. Ayes : Three. Motion carried. Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that the request of the Recreation Director for pre-authorization to expend $1, 292 .46 for cost of transporting exhibit from West Lafayette, Indiana be approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried. Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that the request of the Finance Manager for pre-authorization to expend $3 , 000 . 00 for temporary service agreement with Cedar Bend Humane Society for animal control service for approximately 10 weeks from late October through the end of December be approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried. Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that the request of the Superintendent of Parks to transfer $5, 000 . 00 from Line Item 1569 (Vehicle Replacement Parts) to Line Item 1571 (Equipment Replacement Parts) be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried. Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that the request of the Library Director for numerous line item amendments (list is on file in the City Clerk' s office) be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried. Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that Bills Payment, as contained in Schedule AP640, pp. 1-48, dated October 16, 1995 in the amount of $1, 084, 591 . 55, be received, placed on file and forwarded to the full council for approval . Ayes : Three. Motion carried. Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Krizek that the Minutes of October 9, 1995 be approved. Ayes : Two. Nays : Anders. Motion carried.
