Members present : Chairperson Krizek, Mollenhoff, Anders .
Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that the Agenda, as
proposed, be approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried.
The following bids for printing of 30, 000 parking violation tickets
were reviewed:

It was the recommendation of the City Clerk' s office that the bid
of Traf-O-Teria System of El Dorado, Kansas be approved. The
Clerk' s office has previously contracted the printing of the
tickets with Traf-O-Teria and feel they provide excellent service
and a better finished product . Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by
Anders that said recommendation be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion
carried.
The following bids to upgrade the workstation operating systems
were reviewed:

Warren Computer Center $5, 880 . 00
The Computer Technical Review Committee has reviewed and
recommended approval of the request to upgrade all workstations to
the same operating system. Funding for this request is available
in the Infrastructure Management account . It was the
recommendation of the Administrative Director that the low bid of
Computer Support Services in the amount of $5, 298 . 77 be approved.
Moved by Anders, seconded by Mollenhoff that said recommendation be
approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for token ring cards for computers
to access the network:

The Computer Technical Review Committee has reviewed the request
and recommended approval . It was the recommendation of the
Administrative Director that the bid of Warren Computer Center for
the SMC cards at a total cost of $1, 300 be approved. Moved by
Anders, seconded by Krizek that said recommendation be approved.
Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
Moved by Anders, seconded by Krizek that the request of Building
Maintenance for pre-authorization to expend $2, 272 . 00 to repair
refractory wall of boiler #1 at the 5 Sullivan Brothers Convention
Center be approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried.

Moved by Anders, seconded by Krizek that the request of Building
Maintenance for pre-authorization to expend $409 . 76 for replacement
parts for 2 grills and convection ovens at 5 Sullivan Brothers
Convention Center be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
Moved by Anders, seconded by Krizek that the request of the Art
Director for pre-authorization to expend $965 . 00 for printing for
exhibition brochure be approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Krizek, seconded by Anders that the request of the
Recreation & Arts Director to increase Line Item #3476, Ice
Revenue, and Line Item #1381, Land & Space Rent & Lease, in the
amount of $7, 900 . 00 be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
Moved by Krizek, seconded by Anders that the request of the
Community Development Administrator for amendments to Budget Line
Items (list is available in the Clerk' s office) be approved. Ayes :
Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Anders, seconded by Krizek that bills payment, as
contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-38, dated January 9, 1995, in the
amount of $1, 382, 539 . 94, be approved and forwarded to the full
council for approval . Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
The Finance Committee requested that all pre-authorization forms be
filled out correctly and completely or returned to submitting
department without placement on the Finance Committee agenda.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by
Krizek, seconded by Anders that the meeting be adjourned at 5 : 57
p.m. Ayes : Three. Motion carried.
