Members present : Chairperson Krizek, Mollenhoff, Anders .
Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that the Agenda, as
proposed, be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that the request of the
Police Chief for authorization to purchase six additional police
cars from Dick Witham Ford at the bid price of $17, 250 . 00 be
approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried.
The Finance Committee request a written report from Larry
Cunningham, Superintendent of Central Garage, after problem
resolution is discussed with General Motors on the police autos .
Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that the request of the
Fire Chief to purchase an IBM Wheelwriter 1500 at a cost of $405 . 00
(original price of $650 . 00 minus $245 . 00 credit from IBM) be
approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
Moved by Anders, seconded by Mollenhoff that the request of the
Superintendent of Water Pollution/Flood Control for a blanket pre-
authorization for National Environmental Testing, Inc. to do sample
testing in order to monitor for permit violations be approved.
Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that the request of the
Fire Chief for pre-authorization to expend approximately $1, 200 . 00
for fenders for Engine #4 be approved. Ayes : Three. Motion
carried.
Moved by Anders, seconded by Mollenhoff that the request of the
Superintendent of Central Garage for pre-authorization to expend
$5, 226 . 00 to purchase above ground fuel storage tanks be approved.
Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
Moved by Anders, seconded by Mollenhoff that the request of the
Finance Manager for pre-authorization to expend $470 . 00 for annual
membership dues for Government Finance Officers Association be
approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that bills payment, as
contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-52, dated January 3, 1995, in the
amount of $1, 291, 277 . 34, be approved and forwarded to the full
council for approval . Ayes : Three. Motion carried.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by
Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that the meeting be adjourned at
5 : 03 p.m. Ayes : Three. Motion carried.
