Moved by Anders, seconded by Krizek that the Agenda, as proposed,
be approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for auctioneer for sale of seized,
found and abandoned property for the Police Department :

Conrad Doan l8% on Total Gross Sales
Arends Diversified Auctions 16 . 5 % on Total Gross Sales
It was the recommendation of the Police Chief that the low bid of
Arends Diversified Auctions in the amount of 16 . 5 percent total
gross sales be accepted. Moved by Anders, seconded by Krizek that
said recommendation be approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried.
The following bids were reviewed for purchase of a FAX machine for
the Traffic Operations Department :

Automated Business Products $1, 078 . 00
It was the recommendation of the Superintendent of Traffic
Operations that the low bid of Iowa Business Machines in the amount
of $1, 017 . 16 be approved. Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders
that said recommendation be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion
carried.
Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that authorization be given
to the Superintendent of Street/Sanitation to purchase 2 office
desk chairs at a cost of $133 . 86 each. Ayes : Three. Motion
carried.
Moved by Anders, seconded by Mollenhoff that the request of the
Acting Fire Chief to authorize Paulson Electric to install
electrical equipment (all branch conduit and wiring, fixtures and
(6) 1-Pale, 20-amp circuit breakers) at the Hazardous Material
Regional Training Center Tower at a cost not to exceed $3, 890 . 00,
contingent on meeting May 93 price letting be approved. Ayes :
Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Anders, seconded by Mollenhoff that authorization be given
to the Insurance Coordinator to initiate a consolidated office
supply purchasing agreement with Black Hawk County. Ayes : Three .
Motion carried.
Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that the recommendation
from the Building Official on bids received for ADA entrance and
door improvements at City Hall, Recreation Center and Five Sullivan
Brothers Convention Center be deferred to 4 : 00 p.m. on Thursday,
April 7, 1994 . Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that bills payment as
contained in Schedule A918, pp. 1-37 in the amount of $977, 766 . 89,
dated April 4, 1994, be referred to the City Council for their
approval . Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by
Anders, seconded by Mollenhoff that the meeting be adjourned at
6 :38 p.m. Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
