Moved by Anders, seconded by Mollenhoff that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried. The following bids were reviewed for moving of office furnishings and equipment of the Waterloo Housing Authority from 215 East Fourth Street to 620 Mulberry Street (former East Side Library) : Moving Packing Bidder Labor/Truck Materials Total Bid AN-LO Moving & Delivery No Bid No Bid No Bid Blue Line Moving & Storage $848.00 $180.00 $1,028.00 North American Van Lines $840.00 $109.00 $ 949.00 Wrays Moving Service $896.00 $ 82.50 $ 978.00 It was the recommendation of the Waterloo Housing Authority Director that the low bid of North American Van Lines with a total bid of $949 be approved. Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that said recommendation be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried. Improvements to elevators located at City Hall, the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center, the Public Library and the Waterloo Recreation Center were reviewed. Said improvements are necessary as part of the requirements of the Americans With Disabilities Act . This item was reviewed by the Building & Grounds Committee earlier this evening, and they recommended acceptance of said low bid. Moved by Anders, seconded by Mollenhoff that said recommendation be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried. The following quotes were reviewed for contractor' s equipment and radio insurance coverage : Ouoter Quote Amount Aetna $17, 632 Auto Owners Declined to Quote Ohio Casualty Could not be competitive USF&G $18, 689 St . Paul Fire & Marine $20, 712 Northwestern National $28, 439 It was the recommendation of the Insurance Coordinator that the low bid from Aetna in the amount of $17, 632 be approved. Moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that said recommendation be approved. Ayes : Three. Motion carried. Moved by Anders, seconded by Mollenhoff that a garbage refund in the amount of $40 for 2035 Independence Avenue be approved. Ayes : Three . Motion carried. Ayes : Three. Motion carried. With no further business before the Committee, it was moved by Mollenhoff, seconded by Anders that the meeting be adjourned at 6 : 52 p.m. Ayes : Three . Motion carried.
