Moved by Welper, seconded by Reggie Schmitt that an amended travel request for Fair Housing Coordinator to attend 2009 RECCR Training Conference in Kansas City, Missouri on October 14-16, 2009, with costs not to exceed $573.87, be approved. Moved by Welper, seconded by Reggie Schmitt that a travel request for Director and Curator to tour collections, visit artists and purchase for the Mexican folk art collection in Mexico on January 30-February 14, 2010, with costs not to exceed $5,600.00, be approved. Moved by Welper, seconded by Reggie Schmitt that the request of the Community Development Coordinator for authorization to increase petty cash funds $100.00 for a total of $200.00, be approved. Moved by Reggie Schmitt, seconded by Welper that the request of the Community Development Coordinator for pre-authorization to expend up to $4,500.00 for lead paint refresher course for 24-hour workers and 40-hour contractors ($175.00 per person), be approved. Moved by Reggie Schmitt, seconded by Welper that the request of the Fire Chief for pre- authorization to expend $2,764.00 plus estimated shipping costs of$125.00 for four (4) 100 foot lengths of 2 %2" pump testing hose (colored), be approved.
