Moved by Welper, seconded by Cole that the request of the Superintendent of Central Garage for authorization to seek bids for purchase of heavy duty chipper unit for the Parks Department be approved. Moved by Welper, seconded by Cole that the request of the Superintendent of Central Garage for authorization to seek bids for 2009 combination Jet and Vacuum Truck for the Sewer Department be approved. Moved by Welper, seconded by Cole that the request of the Superintendent of Traffic Operations for authorization to seek bids for installation of poles, signs and pavement markings for W. 4th Street at Allen Street be approved. Moved by Reggie Schmitt, seconded by Welper that Bills Payment, as contained in Schedule AP642, dated October 20, 2008, pp. 1-84, in the amount of$822,941.05, be received, placed on file and approved and forwarded to the full council for approval.
