proposed, be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Cole. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Reggie Schmitt that a travel request for Leisure Services
Director to attend Iowa Park & Recreation Association 2008 Fall Workshop in Cedar Rapids,
Iowa on September 17-18, 2008, with costs not to exceed $194.00, be approved. Ayes: Two.
Absent: Cole. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Reggie Schmitt that a travel request for Maintenance Mechanic
to attend Basic Training Wastewater Treatment Class in Cedar Falls, Iowa on September 16, 17,
23, 24, 2008, with costs not to exceed $395.00, be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Cole.

Police Sergeants to attend National Association of Field Training Officers Conference in
Waterloo, Iowa on September 11-12, 2008, with costs not to exceed $375.00, be approved.

Drug Recognition Expert Training in Ames & Clive, Iowa on September 15-27, 2008, with costs

Police Officers to attend National Association of Field Training Officers Conference in
Waterloo, Iowa on September 11-12, 2008, with costs not to exceed $625.00, be approved.

Human Rights Commission to attend Joint International Association of Official Human Rights
and National Association of Human Rights Workers Conference in Detroit, Michigan on
