The following bids received for FY09 ammunition and supplies for the Police Department were
reviewed:

It was the recommendation of the Police Chief that the above bids be accepted. Moved by
Welper, seconded by Cole that said recommendation be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion
carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Cole that the request of the Building Official/Maintenance
Administrator for authorization to expend up to $15,000.00 for chiller coils for the four air
handlers at the Public Library be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Welper that the request of the Fire Chief for pre-authorization to
expend $2,780.20, plus estimated shipping costs of $25.00, for VidaCare EZ-10 intraosseous
bone injector guns be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Welper that the request of the Police Chief for pre-authorization to
expend $9,655.00, plus estimated shipping costs of $70.00, for mobile remote sensing system
and interface cables be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Welper that the request of the Leisure Services Director for pre-
authorization to expend $4,000.00 for advertising to promote golf be approved. Ayes: Three.
Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Welper that the request of the Leisure Services Director for pre-
authorization to expend $15,000.00 for amusement park tickets sold in July be approved. Ayes:
Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Welper that the request of the Leisure Services Director for pre-
authorization to expend $1,260.00 for gym rental for Mayor's YES+ Initiative Summer
Basketball Program be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Welper that the request of the Superintendent of Waste
Management Services for pre-authorization to expend $18,665.00 for replacement pump for
Edwards Lift Station be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
