Moved by Cole, seconded by Welper that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Three.
Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Welper that the Minutes of February 11, 2008, as proposed, be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
The request of the Community Development Director for authorization to seek bids for roof
repairs for 1521 Hawthorne Avenue, 2525 E. 4th Street, 220 Randall Street, and 318 Edwards
Street was reviewed. Funding is available for the roof repairs from the BHCGA casino funds.
Federal guidelines for eligible homeowners will be followed with a $4,000.00 maximum limit
for repairs. All costs exceeding that amount will be the responsibility of the homeowner prior to
beginning of the project. Moved by Welper, seconded by Cole that said request be approved.

Moved by Welper, seconded by Cole that the request of the Superintendent of Central Garage for
authorization to hold citywide auction on March 27, 2008 using Arends Diversified Auctions
auctioneer service be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Cole that the request of the Superintendent of Central Garage for
authorization to seek bids for one 2008 1-Ton 4-wheel drive pickup with snowplow for the
Leisure Services Department be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Cole that the request of the Superintendent of Central Garage for
authorization to seek bids for one 2008 1-Ton Truck with Service Body for the Traffic
Operations Electrical Department be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Cole that the request of the Superintendent of Central Garage for
authorization to seek bids for one 2008 mid-size sedan for the Planning and Zoning Department
be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Cole that the request of the Superintendent of Central Garage for
authorization to seek bids for one 2008 mid-size sedan for the Engineering Department be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Cole that the revised travel request for Director of Cultural &
Arts Commission and Curator to travel to Guanajuato, Mexico on April 9-23, 2008, with costs
not to exceed $3,976.00, be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Welper that the request of the Director of Cultural & Arts
Commission for pre-authorization to expend $2,500.00 for remodeling costs for the existing
reception desk in the main entrance to the Phelps Youth Pavilion be approved. Ayes: Three.
Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Welper that the request of the Airport Director for pre-
authorization to expend $2,790.00 for repairs to hangar door be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion
carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Welper that the request of the Airport Director for pre-
authorization to expend $3,500.00 for office copier be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Welper that the request of the City Clerk for pre-authorization to
expend $17,308.94 for cost for December 4, 2007 runoff election be approved. Ayes: Three.
