Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that the request of the Superintendent of Central Garage for authorization to seek bids for a 3 yard dump box be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that a garbage refund in the amount of$170.00 for 914 Linden Avenue be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that a garbage refund in the amount of$21.00 for 1603 West 4th Street be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. The following bids received for F.Y. 2008 Culvert Repair and Drainage Improvement were reviewed: Bidder Bid Amount B & B Builders and Supply $11,920.00 Mike Dolan Concrete & Masonry $ 8,480.00 It was the recommendation of the Associate Engineer that the low bid from Mike Dolan Concrete & Masonry in the amount of$8,480.00 be accepted. Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that a travel request for Community Development Director and Waterloo Housing Partnership Coordinator to attend IHOEP 2007 Housing Iowa Conference in Des Moines, Iowa on October 23-24, 2007, with costs not to exceed $364.00, be approved.
