Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that the request of the Police Chief for authorization to purchase computer hardware and software items for stand-alone computer system and approval of agreement with Advanced Computer Engineering Solutions for support services at a total cost of$79,615.00 be approved. The following bids received for F.Y. 2007 Storm Sewer to Alley-500 Block Ansborough Avenue were reviewed: Bidder Bid Amount Frickson Backhoe &Trucking $11,400.00 Frickson Brothers Excavating $11,140.00 It was the recommendation of the Assistant City Engineer that the bid from Frickson Brothers Excavating in the amount of$11,140.00 be accepted. The following bids received for F.Y. 2007 E. 4th Street Sidewalk Repairs were reviewed: Bidders Bid Amount B & B Builders & Supply $13,358.50 Mike Dolan Concrete & Masonry $21,537.00 LNS Builders, Inc. $30,048.12 Speare Construction $ 6,400.00 It was the recommendation of the Assistant City Engineer that the bid from B & B Builders & Supply in the amount of$13,358.50 be accepted.
