Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the Minutes of May 21, 2007, as proposed, be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that the recommendation from the Contracts and
Grants Coordinator to award bid in the amount of$900.00 to American Testing and Training for
asbestos survey of 206 W. Mullan Avenue and 220-222 Jefferson Street be approved. Ayes:
Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that a yard waste refund in the amount of$63.00 for
130 Mohawk Street be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that a travel request for Chief Financial Officer to
attend Iowa Governmental Audits — Local Government Update in Coralville, Iowa on May 22,
2007, with costs not to exceed$335.00, be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the request of the Superintendent of Central
Garage for pre-authorization to expend $1,130.48 for lighting fixtures for shop area be approved.
Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the request of the Superintendent of Central
Garage for pre-authorization to expend $1,525.00, plus estimated shipping costs of$65.00, for
transmission for patrol car 120 be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the request of the Leisure Services Director for
pre-authorization to expend $1,347.32 to replace motor for the HVAC system at Young Arena be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the request of the Leisure Services Director for
pre-authorization to expend less than $5,700.00 for John Deere mower with 54" deck be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the request of the Superintendent of Waste
Management Services for pre-authorization to expend $5,730.00, plus estimated shipping costs
of$100.00, for repair parts for Meyers pump be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the request of the Superintendent of Waste
Management Services for pre-authorization to expend $15,847.00, plus estimated shipping costs
of$100.00, for TV sewer camera be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the request of the Superintendent of Waste
Management Services for pre-authorization to expend $8,753.00 for replacement of VFD on #5
raw sewage pump be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the request of the Superintendent of Waste
Management Services for pre-authorization to expend $5,134.00 to replace satellite VFD #2 be
approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the request of the Superintendent of Waste
Management Services for pre-authorization to expend $1,721.00, plus estimated shipping costs
of$600.00, for repairs to flow tube for #1 RAS flow meter be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion
carried.
