Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the Agenda, as amended, be approved. Ayes:
Two. Absent: Gunderson. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the Minutes of June 5, 2006, as proposed, be
approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Gunderson. Motion carried.
The following bids received for an Air Conditioning Recovery, Recycling and Recharging Unit
for the Garage Annex were reviewed:

NAPA $2,499.00
MAC Tools $2,899.00
LW.I. $2,950.00
It was the recommendation of the Superintendent of Central Garage that bid received from MAC
Tools in the amount of $2,899.00 be accepted. While more expensive, the Superintendent of
Central Garage is recommending the bid from MAC Tools due to the service associated with a
company who services the garages on a regular basis versus a national company whose point of
contact for this specific product is based from Texas. Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood
that said recommendation be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Gunderson. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that a travel request for Public Program Coordinator to
attend Capturing and Keeping Young Adult Audiences Workshop in Chicago, Illinois on July
13-15, 2006, with costs not to exceed $520.00, be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Gunderson.
Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that an amended travel request for Manager of
Rehabilitation Services to attend Section 8/HCV Housing Quality Standards Training and Exam
Certification in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on June 13-15, 2006, with costs not to exceed $1,034.00, be
approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Gunderson. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that a travel request for Code Enforcement Officer to
take Residential Building Inspector and Residential Electrical Inspector exam in Dubuque, Iowa
on June 30, 2006, with costs not to exceed $200.00, be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent:
Gunderson. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the request of the Leisure Services Director for
pre-authorization to expend $7,500.00 for additional funding for Fairview Cemetery be
approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Gunderson. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the request of the Leisure Services Director for
pre-authorization to expend $1,808.00 for service to repair tennis courts damaged by graffiti be
approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Gunderson. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the request of the Leisure Services Director for
pre-authorization to expend $2,200.00 for additional steel needed for the Riverfront Stadium
Project be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Gunderson. Motion carried.
Moved by Cole, seconded by Greenwood that the request of the Leisure Services Director for
pre-authorization to expend $2,904.00, plus estimated shipping costs of $150.00, for drinking
fountain for Maywood Park be approved. Ayes: Two. Absent: Gunderson. Motion carried.
