Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that the Minutes of February 27, 2006, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that a garbage refund in the amount of $120.00 for 2308 Fairway Lane be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that a garbage refund in the amount of$252.00 for 814 West 4th Street be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that a sewer refund in the amount of$127.86 for 3250 Greyhound Drive be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. The request of the Associate Engineer for approval of annual membership fee of$4,320.00 for the Iowa Stormwater Education and Outreach Program was reviewed. The Iowa Stormwater Education and Outreach Program is a group currently consisting of 27 cities and universities in the State of Iowa. As a member of the partnership, the city will receive, on a quarterly basis, educational information for the Storm Water Manager, brochures, bill stuffers, videos, DVD, CD for the Public Access Channel, power point presentations, educational materials for K-12 students, sample ordinances, etc. The Engineering Department has budgeted G.O. Bond funds in the annual storm water program to cover the cost. Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that said request be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Gunderson that a travel request for Fire Department Instructor to teach Confined Space Class in Mason City, Iowa on March 6-8, 2006, with costs not to exceed $260.00, be approved. Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Gunderson that a travel request for Fire Department Instructor to teach Technician Level Recertification Class in Boscobel, Wisconsin on March 15- 16, 2006, with costs not to exceed $300.00, be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Gunderson that a travel request for Police Officer to attend 2006 Multi State Conference on Drugs, Violence and Victims in Dubuque, Iowa on April 11-13, 2006, with costs not to exceed$380.40, be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that a travel request for Waterloo Housing Partnership Coordinator to attend NeighborWorks Training Institute in Dallas, Texas on April 2-8, 2006, with costs not to exceed $2,705.00, be approved. Moved by Greenwood, seconded by Cole that a travel request for Firefighter to do a FIRE PALS presentation for the CDC in Atlanta, Georgia on March 22-24, 2006, with costs not to exceed $1,105.00, be approved.
